Instructions for searching the data contained in the Financial Leasing Register

The registered data is searched by selecting one of the following available options:

  • Data search by the object of the financial lease;
  • Data search by the lessee;
  • Data search by file number;
  • Registration applications and appeals search;
  • Searching the data on the registration applications submitted as a group submission;
  • Data search of other applications/submissions.

Data search by the object of the financial lease

To access the data entry fields that will be used for searching, it is necessary to pre-select the appropriate group, depending on whether the object of the financial lease is a movable or immovable asset. The selection is made by marking one of the options offered in the drop-down list, which opens by clicking on the arrow in the field “*group”. It is possible, but not mandatory, to mark the appropriate “type” of the leased object, also by selecting one of the offered options that are available on the drop-down list. Depending on the selected group and/or type of the leased object, fields will open for entering the appropriate attributes, which represent the search criteria. It is recommended to enter all available attributes, i.e. data on the movable/immovable asset, which is the object of the search.

If the leased object is a registered movable asset, the search criteria are:

  • engine number;
  • chassis number;
  • mark;
  • registration number;
  • type/model.

If the leased object is a non-registered movable asset, the search criteria are:

  • author/manufacturer;
  • type/name;
  • mark;
  • production designation/serial number;
  • type/model.

If the leased object is an immovable asset, regardless of whether it is an “immovable asset - land” or an “immovable asset - structure”, the search criteria are as follows:

  • cadastral lot number;
  • cadastral municipality;
  • place;
  • municipality;
  • street;
  • street number

*When the search is performed according to the criteria that contain the Latin letters Č, Ć, Š, Ž, Đ, it is mandatory to perform a search according to the same criteria, but in such a way that letters C, S, Z, D are entered instead of the letters Č, Ć, Š, Ž, Đ.

**If the object of a financial lease consists of several parts or contains ancillary equipment, where each individual part, or ancillary equipment, contains features or data that represent the search criteria, it is recommended that each of the parts or each part of ancillary equipment be entered individually, in order for the query in the database of the Register to give accurate or expected results.

***When performing a data search, in addition to searching by the object of the financial lease, it is desirable to also perform a search by the lessee. It should be borne in mind that movable assets subject to entry in the Register may be registered as a portfolio of movable assets. In that case, the data are not entered into the database individually for each of the movable assets, but precise data on them are usually contained in the documentation submitted with the registration application. In such cases, you may contact the Archives Department of the Serbian Business Registers Agency, to schedule an appointment to examine the case files of a particular case

****If the obtained data set is too large, it is necessary to enter more precise data or narrow the time interval in which the financial leasing contract is registered (“date of registration - from”; “date of registration - to”).

Data search by the lessee

When data is searched by the lessee, depending on whether it is a natural or legal entity, the search criteria are different.

If the leasser is a domestic national, the search criteria are as follows:

  • first and last name; and/or
  • “JMBG” (unique master citizen’s number).

If the lessee is a refugee, the search criteria are as follows:

  • first and last name; and/or
  • refugee certificate number.

If the lessee is a domestic legal entity or domestic sole proprietorship, the search criteria are as follows:

  • name, i.e. business name of the sole proprietorship, business entity or other legal entity; and/or
  • registration number of the sole proprietorship, business entity or other legal entity.

If the lessee is a foreign national, the search criteria are as follows:

  • first and last name; and/or
  • ID document number (passport number).

If the lessee is a foreign legal entity, the search criteria are as follows:

  • name, i.e. business name; and/or
  • registration number assigned by the foreign register (the number under which that foreign legal entity is registered in the foreign register).

If the lessee is a state authority, the search criteria are as follows:

  • name; and/or
  • registration number.

**If the obtained data set is too large, it is necessary to enter more precise data or narrow the time interval in which the financial leasing contract is registered (“date of registration - from”; “date of registration - to”).

Data search by file number:

This type of search allows searching by:

  • the number under which the financial leasing contract is filed with the lessor;
  • the number under which the application for registration of a financial leasing contract is filed with the Financial Leasing Register (the “Fl. br.”)

To search by the number under which the financial leasing contract is filed with the lessor, it is necessary to enter the number under which a particular contract is filed with the lessor and the name of the lessor, by selecting the appropriate leasing company from the offered list.

*If the business name of the leasing company has changed in the meantime, i.e. since the registration of the contract, it is necessary to select the business name under which the lessor operates at the time of making the quiry.

To search by the number under which the application for registration of a financial leasing contract is filed with the Financial Leasing Register (the “Fl. br.”), the number under which the contract is filed (the “Fl. br.”) must be entered in the FL xxx/gggg format.

*When data is searched by the Fl. number (“Fl. br.”), the basic data on the registered contract will return as the result of the query; clicking on the option “Details” will enable access to all registered data, as well as published decisions of the Registrar relating to a particular financial leasing contract (decisions granting registration, data changes, annotations, and registration of termination of the contract).

Registration applications and appeals search

This type of search enables searching by the data on submitted registration applications and appeals filed against the Registrar’s decisions, for the sake of checking the status thereof (received, processed, adopted or rejected), in particular by:

  • the FL. number (“Fl. br.”); and
  • the applicant / the appellant.

To search by a Fl. number, it is necessary to enter the number under which the particular registration application or appeal was filed with the Serbian Business Registers Agency (the “Fl. br.”), in the FL xxx/gg format, with or without the addition –x.

When the data search is performed by the data on the applicant or appellant, the data on that person is to be entered, while the search criteria and entry rules are the same as when the search is performed by the lessee.

Searching the data on the registration applications submitted as a group submission

To search the data on the registration applications submitted as a group submission, it is necessary to enter the file number under which the concurrently submitted applications were filed with the Register, in the xxx/gggg format, whereby it is mandatory to enter the prefix “FLUP”. This type of search enables an overview of all file numbers under which the individual applications submitted concurrently were filed, under which the registration procedures will be conducted and under which the decisions of the registrar will be made (“Fl. br.”).

Data search of other applications/submissions

For the type of data search of other submitted applications/submissions, it is necessary to enter the file number under which the specific application or submission was filed with the Register, in the FL or FLUP xxx/ggg format, with or without the addition -x.
