Among registered active sole proprietors, 66,977 are domestic nationals who fall under the category of ʽyoung sole proprietorsʼ, as they are between 18 and 35 years of age. Moreover, they make up 23.10% of the total number of registered sole proprietors. 

The majority of young sole proprietors registered the following core economic activities: ʽComputer programming activitiesʼ, ʽHairdressing and other beauty treatmentʼ, ʽRestaurants and mobile food service activitiesʼ, ʽBusiness and other management consultancy activitiesʼ, ʽFreight transport by roadʼ, ʽBeverage serving activitiesʼ, ʽMaintenance and repair of motor vehiclesʼ, ʽRetail sale in non-specialised storesʼ, ʽTaxi operationʼ, ʽSpecialised design activitiesʼ, etc.
