The Serbian Business Registers Agency has proven that it meets the requirements of the security standard ISO/IEC 27001:2013 for the Information Security Management System, on the basis of which it has obtained the International Certificate of Approval for the Information Security Management System (ISMS).

The establishment and management of the Information Security Management System (ISMS), according to the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 standard, is a proof of the system’s compliance with international standards and relevant legislation in the field of data security, system protection in the field of information security, reduction of the risk of information loss, responsibility of all employees in the organization for information security, increased reputation and trust among employees, users and other stakeholders.

The ISO/IEC 27001:2013 standard is focused on protecting the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data, which is achieved by recognizing what potential problems may occur regarding the data and what needs to be done to prevent such problems, i.e. risk management.

Based on the obtained certificate, the Agency, within the scope of its competencies, provides added value for users and stakeholders regarding strengthening trust in terms of information protection, reducing business risks and strengthening security culture.

DAS SEE, a representative of the independent certification body "DAS Certification Limited" from Great Britain and accredited by the world's most famous accreditation body UKAS, assessed the fulfillment of the conditions for obtaining this standard.
