The Serbian Business Registers Agency, through the project “Services for the Improvement and Development of the eRegistration System in the Register of Financial Leasing”, has enabled the registration of data on authorizations for vehicle registration and has developed a service for the electronic download of such data, to be used in the registration process and in the case of vehicle registration extensions.
In cooperation with the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Serbia and the Office for Information Technologies and eGovernment, which previously made the necessary adjustments to the system used in the vehicle registration procedure, the appropriate conditions were created for the service to be put into operation on 13 December 2022.
Lessees, who acquired the vehicle through financial leasing, will not have to attach the vehicle registration authorization in paper form during the vehicle registration procedure from now on, because data on the registered authorizations will be available automatically to the persons who carry out the vehicle registration procedure, through the service of the Serbian Business Registers Agency.
The notification on the registration of the authorization in the Register of Financial Leasing will be delivered to the lessee at the email address specified by the leasing company when registering the authorization.
