The Serbian Business Registers Agency has processed the data from the Business Entities Register’s database and concluded that the representation of women in business entities has not yet reached a satisfactory level compared to the representation of men. Although, a moderate positive trend has been recorded year after year.

The data was published in the form of an Infographic - Representation of Women in Business Entities.

In the context of the ever-current topic of gender equality, the Agency's data show a significantly higher percentage of women's representation in all of the Agency’s sectors.

Namely, women make up 63% of the 441 permanent and temporary employees working at the Agency.

The better part of executive positions is held by women (62%). Women are also the majority when it comes to managerial positions (organization, legal affairs, financial and economic affairs, registers within the Agency's competence).

The positions “director of sector” and “Registrar” are held by 4 women and 2 men.
