At the Smart eGovernment regional conference, which was held on 23 November in Belgrade and was attended by representatives from public administration, local self-government, the financial sector and IT companies, the Serbian Business Registers Agency presented its new portal for the electronic registration of business entities, which will, starting from next year, enable the electronic submission of all types of registration applications for all legal forms that are registered within the Register of Business Entities.
The participants of the conference were also presented with details of the new web portal for electronic data delivery, through which simpler access to data for state authorities will be enabled, while by the end of 2024 the Portal will be made available to all interested users, who need business and financial data from the SBRA in order to improve their business.
Apart from the applications for the registration of the incorporation, which are already available on the Portal as of May 17 and are mandatory for the registration of the incorporation of business entities, all other applications for the registration of all types of changes and deletion of business entities will be available through the Portal for eRegistration of business entities starting from next year.
Katarina Nikolić, Assistant Registrar in the Register of Business Entities, highlighted speed and availability as the main advantages of electronic registration, as well as a lower fee for electronic registration compared to the fee paid for registration in paper form. Due to the numerous validation rules implemented in the system, the application helps users to enter all the necessary data in the application, which reduces the number of errors and increases the percentage of approved applications. The entire registration process is therefore significantly accelerated, because when processing the electronic application, the stage of filing the application, manual data entry, scanning of documents and dispatch of written dispatches and archiving is skipped, and the environmental aspect is not negligible either, because there is no need to print and send the Registrar's written dispatches, which are available to the user through the Portal, in the form of an electronic document.
Maja Krneta, head of the Data Delivery Department, presented the advantages of the integrated display of data from all of the Agency's registers on the new data delivery portal, which provides greater flexibility and new functionalities, on the basis of which data access will be facilitated and their use value increased. The delivery of data via the web portal presents a significant improvement compared to the current practice, as it will enable electronic ordering, payment and download of data from the Serbian Business Registers Agency, as the official source of such data.
