The Acting Director of the Serbian Business Registers Agency (SBRA), Bojana Stojmenović, together with her associates, and the Director of the Central Registry of the Republic of North Macedonia (CRRNM), Anita Stamnova, PhD together with her associates, met on 16 December 2025 at the Agency’s business premises in Belgrade, where future steps for continuing cooperation between the two institutions were agreed upon at a working meeting.

The SBRA and the Central Registry of the Republic of North Macedonia are partner institutions that have maintained decades-long successful cooperation, ranging from participation in the work of international organizations, through the launching of regional initiatives for cross-border connectivity, to the exchange of best practices in the field of establishing and managing business registers as electronic databases.

Among other things, both of these institutions also possess very important and extensive archival documentation, for which they are obliged to provide care by applying measures related to the protection of archival and documentary material. Consequently, the management of archival material constitutes a regular activity of particular importance within the scope of work of registry authorities. In this regard, at the request of representatives of the Central Registry of the Republic of North Macedonia, the hosts showed the guests around the Agency’s archive building, with archival repositories equipped with the most modern technical equipment, enabling the safe storage and adequate protection of paper archival material, which is regularly digitized and microfilmed, as well as an increasingly extensive body of electronic archival material, which the Agency preserves in accordance with the highest standards.
