In cooperation with the Blood Transfusion Institute of Serbia, the Serbian Business Registers Agency organized a voluntary blood donation drive for its employees on 15 January 2026, during which 41 units of blood were collected. Of these, 19 units were donated by women.

Thanks to the strong response from employees (around 10 percent of whom are regular blood donors) the drives are consistently successful, and their contribution to maintaining adequate blood reserves is invaluable. This is particularly important as voluntary blood donation campaigns at the Agency are typically held during months when blood supplies are at their lowest, making the need to secure sufficient reserves especially critical, as is the case now, when blood stocks have been drastically reduced.

“We are proud of the proven humanity of the employees of the Serbian Business Registers Agency. Their commitment to values such as solidarity, responsibility, and care for the community is also demonstrated through their dedicated participation in voluntary blood donation campaigns, whether organized at the Agency or elsewhere. What may be a small act for us can mean a great deal to someone else - this is always worth remembering,” emphasized Bojana Stojmenović, Acting Director of the Serbian Business Registers Agency.

The SBRA has been cooperating with the Blood Transfusion Institute of Serbia for more than a decade, during which time it has regularly taken part in programs aimed at ensuring sufficient blood reserves.
