The KOICA (Korea International Cooperation Agency) delegation is paying a working visit to the Serbian Business Registers Agency (SBRA), from today to 31 May 2013.The visit is aimed at assessing the effects of the Government of the Republic of Korea Donation on shortening administrative procedures for business registration and improvement of business conditions in the Republic of Serbia. Thanks to the Donation for the Improvement of Business Processes of the Serbian Business Registers Agency, worth 3.2 Million US Dollars, a support to the implementation of one stop shop registration system has been provided, whereby the number of steps to start a business in the Republic of Serbia has been reduced as of 2009.With the help of this donation, an information system for integrated and more efficient reception of registration applications at the SBRA’s reception counter desks has been designed too, as well as the unique hub for the exchange of electronic data among SBRA and several government institutions, banks and other customers.IT equipment for the SBRA’s unique information system was one of the Donation’s components, as well as a training of SBRA’s employees in the Republic of Korea, thanks to which the Agency’s business capacities were additionally strengthened, enabling establishment of several new registers within a short period of time. The Donation was signed on 14 February 2008 in Belgrade and was implemented within the 2008 – 2010 period.
