In the first nine months of this year, 103,989 applications for the construction, extension and reconstruction of facilities were submitted through the information system of the Central Register of Integrated Procedures (CRIP), i.e. 21.4% more compared to the same period last year and 26.3% more compared to the same period in 2019.

The number of issued construction permits increased by 24.2% compared to 2020 and by 31% compared to 2019. The number of issued decisions approving the execution of construction works on the adaptation, reconstruction or extension of existing facilities has also increased by as much as 31.9% compared to the previous year.

The Serbian Business Registers Agency recently launched a new version of the information system, ending the Project for the Improvement and Development of the Software Application of the Central Register of Integrated Procedures for the Issuance of Construction Permits.

This new and improved version of the CRIP application system ensures, in particular, a higher level of stability of the software platform, offering a large number of new functionalities to all its users participating in the integrated procedure for the issuance of ePermits, i.e. ePermit applicants, investors, competent public authorities in charge of issuing permits and approvals, as well as institutions holding public powers.

One of the novelties that significantly improved and accelerated the procedure of the issuance of ePermits was introduced in cooperation with the Office for Information Technologies and eGovernment, enabling electronic payment of the integrated procedure fees and/or charges through the system еУправa.

Integration with the Address Register and the Real Estate Cadastre of the Republic Geodetic Authority enables automatic downloading of address data, as well as validation of cadastral parcel numbers. In addition to the above, automatic downloading of data on legal entities registered with the Serbian Business Registers Agency was also enabled, reducing the time required to enter data and ensuring the accuracy of these data.

To meet the needs of the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia, the range of available data on completed construction works and issued permits has been expanded, thus enabling better monitoring of the construction sector and insight into the structure of investments. A developed data exchange web service, through the Government Service Bus (GSB), enables easier access to all the data and documents contained in the CRIP application system, making them available to institutions using this data to perform tasks within their competence.

Launching of the enhanced version of this system facilitates the interested citizens’ access to the published data on the procedures conducted based on the applications for construction, extension and reconstruction of facilities and the decisions made in those procedures. This public data is available through the SBRA website’s search engine, including the statistics on issued decisions.
