Pursuant to the amended laws on companies and business registration procedure, the Serbian Business Registers Agency will enable electronic registration of all business entities through a user application for the reception of electronic applications and electronic documents signed with a qualified electronic signature, facilitating electronic payment of registration fees.

The Busines Entities Register shall commence applying this new method of operation as of mid-2023 i.e. within the prescribed deadline (18 months). 

If the registration procedure is initiated by the submission of an electronic application, a copy of the Registrar's decision shall be delivered to the business entity’s registered e-mail address or to the e-mail address specified in the application. 

By the said deadline, the Agency will also enable the delivery of the Registrar's decision to the business entity’s Unique Electronic Inbox, providing that it is a registered user of the electronic administration service. 

The upcoming digitalization of the SBRA’s services makes inevitable the electronic communication between the Agency and the business entities which will become the prevailing method of operation of the Business Entities Register.

At the moment, 76.6% of companies and 71.4% of sole proprietors have registered their e-mail addresses. The Agency hereby invites all business entities to adjust their business operations in due course and prepare for the upcoming changes of the registration system.
