The Serbian Business Registers Agency has put into operation its new electronic service for the registration of incorporation of companies, sole proprietors and other business entities registered in the Business Entities Register. The new service on the Agency’s portal will enable submitting the registration applications via a special software application.
As of today, 17 May 2023, submitting the applications in electronic form will be the sole way of submitting applications for incorporation of a:
- limited liability company (LLC),
- general partnership (GP),
- limited partnership (LP), and
- joint stock company (JSC).
As of today, the Agency will accept registration applications for the incorporation of companies exclusively in electronic form, in accordance with the Law on the Procedure of Registration with the Serbian Business Registers Agency (Official Gazette of the RS, no. 99/2011, 83/2014, 31/2019 and 105/2021). Applications submitted in paper form will not be accepted by the Agency, as of today, in accordance with the abovesaid regulation.
The mandatory eRegistration does not apply to:
- the incorporation of sole proprietors, cooperatives, cooperative unions, public enterprises, representative offices or branches of foreign companies, and
- already registered business entities.
Sole proprietors, cooperatives, cooperative unions, public enterprises, representative offices or branches of foreign companies will have the option of choosing between two ways of submitting the registration application for incorporation - in paper or electronic form.
The application guide is available for download via the following link - "Mandatory Electronic Application for the Registration of the Incorporation of Companies" (in Serbian).
